The answer is a lot, and often!\u00a0 First, the<a href=\"http:\/\/radio-relay.org\/\">\u00a0Radio Relay International<\/a>\u00a0(RRI) organization made up of amateur radio operators who specialize in long-range communications has been busy handling health and welfare messages from the islands. Meanwhile, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.org\/ns\/apology\/disaster_homepage.html\">\u00a0Red Cross<\/a>, which has a relationship with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arrl.org\/\">American\u00a0 Radio Relay League\u00a0<\/a>(ARRL), put out a call for fifty Red Cross certified ham radio operators to travel to Puerto Rico.
