Amateur Radio Week – June 18 – 24
On Tuesday, June 5, Scott Roberts (KK4ECR) attended the Orange Park Town Hall meeting. At this meeting, the Mayor of the Town of Orange Park, Mayor Gary Meeks, presented the Orange Park Amateur Radio Cub and Clay County Amateur Radio Emergency Service with a proclamation declaring the week of June 18 – 24 as Amateur Radio Week. A special “Thank You” to Renee who has given us the sign from the shack of her grandfather, Ralph Aaron (W4EEZ) (SK) along with his collection of QSL cards. Renee wants these to be used to encourage people to get their license and enjoy the hobby.
