Amateur Radio Week Proclamation

Amateur Radio Week – June 18 – 24

On Tuesday, June 5, Scott Roberts (KK4ECR) attended the Orange Park Town Hall meeting.  At this meeting, the Mayor of the Town of Orange Park, Mayor Gary Meeks, presented the Orange Park Amateur Radio Cub and Clay County Amateur Radio Emergency Service with a proclamation declaring the week of June 18 – 24 as Amateur Radio Week.  You can view that proclamation HERE.

2018 Memorial Day 5k Run

The Florida Strider’s 2018 Memorial Day 5k will be on Monday, May 28th.  We are looking for 5 to 6 operators to help us out with this event.  We will be operating from 7 am until approx 10 am.  Please complete the information below to sign up.  Thank you for your support of these events. We have a request to have 6 volunteers to ride in a vehicle. You will need a portable mobile radio and external antenna. If you are interested and don’t have a radio we can provide one if needed.
We only have 2 rest stops and they are already filled.
