A HUGE “Thank you!!!” to all those who participated in the 2015 MS-150. The total numbers are not in at this time, but there is estimated to have been over 1800 riders this year. The event went very smoothly.
The MS-150 staff had nothing but good to say about the “ham radio volunteers” that assisted at the rest stops and in SAG vehicles. This sign was at the Best Western Hotel in Ormond Beach where the SAGs stayed…

Also, “Thank You” to those who worked at the St. John’s County EOC. The picture below shows several people there “working,” but it has been said that only one or two were REALLY doing the work.
We had volunteers covering rest stops and sag vehicles from St Johns, Flagler, Volusia, Clay County and Duval County.

The Bike MS Director for South Florida Chapter is also a Ham and was able to monitor the communications during the event. They stated that monitoring our net was helpful for training.
